Special Applications

Left & Right-Hand Pipe Bending Machines

Developed for the most demanding applications, Unison’s all-electric CNC tube and pipe bending machines deliver precise results on parts with complex geometry.

Each system can bend in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, providing unmatched flexibility for intricate designs and tight production environments.

Choose from pinball or rise & fall pressure die configurations – both engineered to simplify even the most challenging bending processes. See the technology in action in the videos on this page.

Our intelligent, all-electric control system removes the guesswork from multi-axis tube bending, ensuring consistent, repeatable performance for high-precision components across a wide range of industries.

These machines are used wherever complex tubular shapes are critical — from subsea systems to aerospace ducting.

  • Oil & Gas – Major operators use Unison technology to form precision bends in high-strength alloys such as Inconel and Super Duplex stainless steels.

  • Aerospace – Ideal for bending hydraulic lines, fuel tubes, and ducting where accuracy and repeatability are vital.

  • Shipbuilding – Leading yards rely on Unison’s left- and right-hand CNC benders to produce complex geometries for marine systems and structural components.

Unison all-electric CNC tube bending machines combine power, precision and process control – delivering the accuracy you need, with the efficiency modern manufacturing demands.

Rise & Fall Pressure Die pipe bending

Available for tubular parts of up to 35 mm diameter, Unison Rise & Fall Pressure Die machines are ideal for small tubular work typically found in the oil & gas and yellow goods construction sectors. With left & right-hand bending capability achieved on the same part, the bending of long tubes with complex geometry is easily solved, especially when used in conjunction with Opt2Sim, our tube simulation software.

Pinball pipe bending

Unison Pinball machines are available in 30 mm, 50 mm, 90 mm, 150 mm and special variants, depending on required collet capacity. Ideal for highly complex part shapes where collisions may occur on a standard machine, Pinball models can also be specified with laser-controlled springback correction to further minimise material wastage. Sectors include: aerospace, marine and oil & gas.
