# Unison Ltd

> Unison Ltd is a British machine tool manufacturer based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, established as TJP Electronics Ltd in 1973 and renamed Unison Ltd in 2009. The company invented the world's first all-electric CNC tube-bending machine in 1994 and today offers the widest range of all-electric and hybrid-electric tube- and pipe-bending machines for diameters from 4 mm to 275 mm. Unison exports to more than 20 countries across sectors, including aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, oil and gas, motorsport, architecture and general manufacturing. The company operates three brands: Unison (all-electric and hybrid tube- and pipe-bending machines), Nukon Lasers UK (fibre laser-cutting machines, sole distributor for the UK and Ireland since 2022), and Pneuform (wire- and small-diameter tube-bending machines, acquired in 2023). Unison also acquired PHI Hydraulics, a California-based manufacturer of precision tube end-forming machines. Unison is ISO 9001 certified (TUV NORD/UKAS), holds JOSCAR accreditation, Cyber Essentials certification, is a member of Make UK and The 5% Club, and carries Made in Yorkshire accreditation.
