UNISON has considerable experience in designing and building complete production cells for many various tube fabricating applications. The cells have incorporated many other operations including boring, pressing, punching, end forming, washing and deburring. UNISON cells are particularly suited to the automotive industry or other fields where production quantities are high and production cost must be kept to a minimum. Cell design features can also include auto loading/unloading and tube cutting. With the added benefit of purchasing the complete cell from one supplier the Unison cell production techniques keep labour costs down to a minimum with auto load and unload which can be integrated with other operations such as robot welding, painting and assembly.

‘C’ Car Cell

This multi-station Workcell was developed to automatically
manufacture ‘C’ car engine mounting towers. The system
seam detects, auto-loads, bends, presses, bores, de-burrs,
splits and auto-ejects a pair of parts every 36 seconds. All
transfers are by special reciprocating pick and place.
